Horns
Ok, I just have to rant. this morning I’m at a stop light trying to turn right. I am normally a real cautious driver in my area ’cause lord knows there are plenty of Idoits out there. So anyways I have my blinker on and am waiting for traffic to clear when this woman behind me honks her horn at me and is motioning for me to turn. Now this annoys me and what happens when I get annoyed…I annoy them back. Now I know one day I’ll probably get shot for this but whatever…I stayed there for a really long time. Traffic was really heavy this morning and this intersection is under construction. Its just a bad intersection to be at normally. So I have this lady in a Mercedes (not even a good one, it was probably early 80’s diesel to boot.) honking at me to move. So I get a clear path and turn. Now she refuses to pass me and stays far away from me. We go about two traffic lights and stop at the third and she pulls up next to me and gives me a dirty look. Umm HELLO I’m not hurting myself or my car in order for you to turn a dang corner fast. Its not like she was in a hurry at all. What’s the point in useing the Horn improperly when you don’t even act as thou your in a hurry. The only reason I use mine is if someone is stopped at a green light. Ok well I use it a couple of different ways but never when it comes to turns. I can’t see what the driver in front of me can see. Just as this lady couldn’t see what I could - a whole bunch of cars that had the right away.
Ok rant over…back to depressing work.
