Mierda Del Toro…Its a Fine Art

As I’ve mentioned, Mikey has played house hubby all week and has requested “Honey do” lists almost everyday. He has done a wonderful job and I’m just wondering if its always going to be this way…I make a list, and he actually does it…all in one day. I’m wondering when he is going to just start ignoring the list like all the other husbands in the world. The other awesome thing he does, is if he knocked out the entire list, he does the things we were talking about doing, but hadn’t actually commited to a list.

So, while I’ve been at work he has cleaned the rest of the dishes and put them away and he bought all the little extra stuff we need for the apartment and put it together. He has also been walking Miss BB and making sure she is taken care of all day. Mikey is her new best friend and you can tell that she favors him (she sits underneath his chair when we watch TV)…she is even starting to listen to him and follow his commands.

Although, Miss BB has also become addicted to secondhand smoke. If Mikey has a cigarrette outside without her, she whines at the sliding glass door until he lets her out. Then she sits in front of him, sniffing the air…its quite hilarious. So, now Miss BB gets her nic fix too.

Since we got back from the honeymoon, Mikey has really taken on the role of being Miss BB’s daddy. It all started with her riding with him (in his air conditioned car) to our new apartment, while I toted my clothes in my hot box car. Then Monday, I went to work and he let BB accompany him while in the house. I came home Monday to find that he had purchased the baby gate I asked for (to keep BB out of places that we don’t want her) and an extra trashcan for the backyard to put her poo poo bags in.

Yesterday, Mikey walked her around the apartment complex on her flex leash with her cute, blue, pearly, poo poo bag dispenser attached to it. Mikey learned that he had used the last poo poo bag on the walk. So, he asked me where he can find them at and I told him that he can find them anywhere (even Target…his favorite store) in the pet aisle. When I got home, not only did Miss BB have new poo poo bags, but she had this more stylish (more manly) looking poo poo bag dispenser. I was told that Miss BB, needed to “man up”.
