I’m getting nerdy here. People say Bill Gates was a genius, but it takes a creativity genius like Steve Jobs to make the imaginable a reality.
I fell in love with computers in college, the engineering of them seemed to be a thing of beauty and the possibilities of computer architecture an art, software development was the key for all the magic that could happen. In my younger years of a college education, I was in awe of Bill Gates and Microsoft. I wanted to work there. When I graduated college, I hoped I could get into that environment and one day work there.
That was until I went to Graduate School and peeled back the layers further in Computer Architecture. When I delved into Graduate work in Computer architecture, I realized Bill Gates and Microsoft, were a thing of the past. Their standards were substandard in reality and they simply didn’t move with technology as fast as they could…but because they were a standard, they dominated the market.
The path to the future was the way Apple designs their computers from the inside out. When I see their new technology it always makes me feel like this was what a computer was meant to do. This people, is where Engineering meets Art. The sheer creativity boggles my mind! So, of course, I have to have this new OS when it comes out in the Spring! The new features to this already advanced OS are a dream made reality and of course the Software Development made lots of magic. This is what engineering should be about. Perfecting a product and constantly making bounds and milestones in technology.

i always hear that the mac is better because of the OS, but some days i can barely run my PC. what would I do with a mac?
Everything you do with a PC, only more. A Mac is extremely easy to use and it has some cool things in the OS to play with.
