When I woke up this morning, this is what I saw out my window…

That is grass covered in ice, I thought it was snow at first. After I took a closer look, I found that the rain froze on the grass last night. Yesterday evening it was around 39 F outside, pouring rain and hailing ice cubes…It was insane! I’ve never seen weather like this in CA. The news is calling it a cold snap. My dogs actually didn’t want to go outside for once and Scout willingly came in without me having to round her up like cattle. Pretty crazy weather…I’m just glad we have a heater!
